Pauses Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Pauses

Those quiet pauses
The in-between spaces
When I am lost
In deep
Thoughtful places
I find
True refuge
In pools of
Sound proof recess

In the midst
Of all the noise
Wilful mind
Has no poise
Egos clash
Peace destroyed
Hurt heart craves
Voiceless voids

Too many vibes
Of human tribes
I feel trapped
In baleful vice
So I run
To caves, and hide
Drift with rivers
To oceans and tides
Nalini
