Patriotic Pride Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

Patriotic Pride

The grand old flag that flies outside.
Many fly you to show patriotic pride.
We know Betsy Ross sewed you up.
On the fourth of July fireworks do erupt.
The Declaration Of Independence was scribed by our forefathers.
We should never forget about our freedoms all sisters and brothers.
When the government is no longer for the people, just remember our past.
When there are no longer freedoms or rights for everyone, life isn't a blast.
Hail to the past, our forefathers, and freedom, my friends, let's hope our rights will never end.
Let's always be diligent of our forefathers, because as Americans we must always defend.
