Patience Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

Patience

Patience for us not to be rash,
And not set our minds to dash
Into discord that might smash
Them to pass away like a flash.
Peace to endure not to have clash.

To all we must not be blind.
Our rage we must leave behind
To be gentle, caring and kind.
Such are these habits we must mind
With joy and peace we find.

Let us trust and accept with great care.
Think not to have our hearts blare
And not fall into anger’s snare.
To endure with love we must dare
With the gains that come we can fare.

Put your mind earnestly at rest.
To stand the strains that puts you to test,
Don’t let things blow right into your chest.
Calm your mind to place it to the crest,
With harmony making it well blest.

Wise words IF only we can live by what is really easy. Patience is an art, and patience can restore much which is wrong in our world today
