Passion Eyes Poem by Errol Anderson

Passion Eyes

Rating: 5.0

It should come as no surprise
That in your eyes
I can see the passion.
They say love is the fashion,
But please don’t look at me that way.
I’ll regret the things I’ll say.
Your eyes seem to see right through me.
I try to hide afraid of what you might see.
It’s no use your stare is forever with me
Oh no no, this cannot be
But yet it seems to be happening
I cannot resist your staring.
The burning of my skin is not from the heat,
But from the rays of your stares your passion eyes so sweet.
Yet so fierce my heart it does pierce.
Two burning arrows
Bent on creating sorrow.
The eyes of passion
It’s more than just fashion.
Truly there is no surprise,
Because they are my own eyes.
