Passed Our 'used By Date' Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Passed Our 'used By Date'

cannot kill it now
it's power shall not abate
the machine will grow
nodes and clouds proliferate
all of life to dominate

embryonic state
does gestate for tomorrow
soon to saturate
winds of change upon us blow
our funeral pyre does glow

we evolve too slow
synthetic neuron create
through dendrite bytes flow
extinction is our fate
we have passed our 'used by date'

it does hibernate
to emerge from the shadow
then self replicate
time travel will know
an intergalactic show
