Partnership Poem by Charlotte Ballard

Partnership

A flicker of a promise
Sealed in gold and fire
Mixed with Tango lines
And deep gorges flushed
Timeless in the middle
Of a hush, spoken in silver
Bells, wrapped thus, and thus
And, oh my, there.
She makes it shine.
Do you see it?
Touch it once and
It disappears like
Spun sugar in a
Child's hand.
