Parted Be Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Parted Be

Rating: 5.0

I love thee. I love thee.
I love thee. It cannot be.

Give last dropp
of pulsating blood
last breath
of throbbing heart.
Already all is taken.
Within withers
abandoned forsaken heart.
Like last golden globules
of bursting vibrant corn
crushed scattered
ruptured upon dust.
As seen sunset upon molten
desert sands. Your youthful spirit.
Lights an afterglow.
Your essence embodies
effeminate sea
waves roll in upon
naked beating breast.
Sunlight flashes upon
a nest of copulous waves
painted as canvas
of cosmic womb
awakening visage depicted surrealistically.

Dark stars quest imbue
suck forth completely all
light sound emitting entropy
except on event horizon
dead buried in cold
vault of stellar eternity.
I am ancient wanderer
fallen of unknown skies
a blazing meteor burning
consumed upon horizons beckoning.
Lost firmament of heaven song.

Dust ash close arms
far tears close memory
sealed magnitudes
of unheralded constellations
close eye in shadow.

A Love That Cannot
Parted Be.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I know this feeling too well. Anyway, sadness hasn´t blinded me: I recognize beaty when I see it. This poem is beatiful, in it´s use of words and it´s meaning. Laura
