Paper Memories



Waiting on forever
Slanted light wings

The world's endeavor
To hold me down
Under paper wings

The light chains
Which bind me.
Blind and sting.

They slash at my veins
And bite down on my silence
Just a turn can help them
Wield the power of chains.
