Paper Cut Poem by tim woodhouse

Paper Cut

Rating: 5.0

It was only a paper cut -
I sliced my finger on an envelope -
It festered and in the end
I needed saline spray and antibiotics.

Like the sharpness of your tongue
It hurt for days and made me all neurotic.

Tim, now this is a poem that is clever in many ways. Injury of heart and body are different pains...which one hurts the most? Loved this piece of poetry.10/10 Ian
