Pam Poem by Scott Martin

Pam

As we venture through our lives, and the years come and go,
It can be amazing at the ones you come to know.
Starting with your parents, and your next of kin,
The people in your neighborhood, and the ones you call friends.
And as we go through school, and off to work someday,
You'll meet those special ones, that help you find your way.
Today I write of one, who's a truly special friend.
I hope we're always close, till the very end.
You see she's done many things, that have brightened up my day.
She probably never knew it, cause she does it her own way.
She always makes me feel welcomed, with her family you see,
To spend time with all of them, when it's just what I need.
The invites to her church, to share a meal with others.
The time it also gives me, to be with my brother.
The concerts and the ballgames, that she's helped me attend.
The golf outings and fishing trips, so I can be with my friend.
You see she's done so much for me, to brighten up my life.
In case you didn't know it, she's my best friends wife.

A beautiful tribute ceremoniously rich in tone. Very tender and delicate expressions of gratitude and appreciation from the heart. Thanks for sharing, Scott.
