Over You Poem by Charlie Watson

Over You

Rating: 5.0

I thought I could get over you
But every time I did you kept coming back
So I grit my teeth, hoping I wouldn’t fall again,
But I do every time, so let this pain begin
I found out some things that I didn’t want to know
So finally, no matter how much this hurts I’m letting you go
Now I’ll hide behind my selfish pride,
And try to get threw this painful ride
The hardest part is letting go of every thing we’ve been threw
But its kind of funny cause I’m finally threw with you
So don’t come around like every thing is okay,
Cause you know its not, you act as if nothing ever happened
Well honest to god, I think things would have been better if I never met you,
Other wise I wouldn’t be writing this poem, and crying tears of blue.
The first and last aint never the same, I’ll for get you, and your name, and never again but my heart at shame for a guy who was carelessness, and caused me nothing but heart ach and sadness! !
