Over-Ride Poem by Brittney Griffin

Over-Ride

Around you sometimes I change the real me.
I smile alot,
but not too much.
I joke alot,
but not too much.
My hearts racing,
I can't think straight.
My feelings are in over-ride.
Want to touch you first,
but scared of what you might be thinking.
I want to feel you,
or at least your touch.
I don't call this feeling lust.
But i need you so much.
Anticipating your next move,
the decision is all up to you.
Needing to feel love.
But I've never felt it like this before.
My heart is sore,
as if it was torn.
But i've been waiting for this kind of love anyways.
Only a little pain is what my heart can sustain.
Feelings like these are hard to find now a days.
I'm sort of in a daze.
Your love has me hypmotized.
I believe my love is in Over-Ride.
