Sometimes I notice
That no bodies noticing
People look straight through me
As if I’m not worth their attention
Nobody has super powers
Except somehow I’ve been given invisibility
Sometimes I notice
That no bodies noticing
I loathe the feeling
Of when I speak and not one person is attentive
Makes me feel meaningless
Like my words are good for nothing
Sometimes I notice
That no bodies noticing
Being unintentionally ignored by everyone
Gets into my head
How can it not?
I want to scream LISTEN TO ME
Sometimes I notice
That no bodies noticing
But they should
Because I deserve a voice too.
