Our Patience Shall Guide Us Upon Our Own Endless Roam Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Our Patience Shall Guide Us Upon Our Own Endless Roam

Patience is the quenching
Of fates lips infernal
Lava filled passion
The eruption of awe
Upon an everlasting moment, at last

The wait worthwhile
Surges of energy
Sings into the melody of love
A rhapsody's awaking
The sleeping giant of romance
In this moment, sleeps no more!

Monumental feat
To the rigor core
Each moment stored endlessly
In each sacred step
Of each battle, each war
As victory lays looming in the endurance of it all

Test this patience
Throw me into a gauntlet
Like one I have never been in before
I am stronger today than I have ever been
Seek this heart, for it is ready to be explored

And when life teaches us its ultimate sentimental lesson
Our souls will become as one

Tonight we are strangers
In the future our bond will be stronger
Than any has been before

Out of nowhere comes a miracle
Ours will soon be coming, surely enough

Look up into the sky
In our own moments
The stars will always be ours

Lips of unconditional endurance
Infernal, till our lips touch
In an never ending eruption
In celebration of our everlasting love

We have awoken from our giant sleep
Active in the name of everlasting love

Our fate rests in our own hearts prophecies
Hearts to meld in passion unified as one

With patience our love will be stronger
Than anything we have ever had to endure before

We shall find ourselves
All in the name of an everlasting love

Our love will then will reform
Into endless height
As we climb the mountain
Upon the endless peak of our love

Our patience shall guide us upon our own endless roam!
