Our Masks Poem by jerlyn eguia

Our Masks

Rating: 5.0

we must have interchanged our masks
look at you
you have the face of a man and you pretend
you do not love me
and look at me i have the lips of a woman
the eyelids like some twigs of a flowering bush
and i move around
wanting still to seduce you because despite the masks
deep within
i am still in love with you
