when i saw you
we talked for a long time

we went to a movie
we went to the park
we went for a walk

we felt a connection
we could tell that we were in love
with each other
and no one else.
for our first date we were going to see the sunset
you and me
sitting,
watching,
any minute we would kiss

but before that could happen
i got a phone call
we never got to have a romantic moment
we never got to
sit
watch
and kiss
all of that is now away
because of that devestating car crash
on that late evening in May.
