Our Blanket Poem by Carey Noelle

Our Blanket

I wanna lay under a heavy blanket with you,
a long cloak
heavy enough to crush fear,
and lack of faith.

A lid for our love,
A closing, a container,
for the whispers,
the mush sound of
our lips pressing together,
Something thick,
to separate us
from the rest of this world.

Something to shield our love,
protect us,
to attach us,
a confinement
of pink love but
purple lust, dipped in creme
and dragged,
pulled, licked, kicked, bit
and kissed by our wet bodies.

Something heavy
that we should lift together,
hold together,
even if it gets heavy, hard
Difficult.

I'll go as long as u want me to,
I'll hold on as long as u want,
Unless youd like for us to dropp it,
like a bomb
I'll let the bomb explode all over us,
leave us laying there,
drenched in that pink love and
dripping in the purple lust,
glistening with happiness.

We could be glistening with happiness,
I could make u glow,
You could make me gleam,
and beam,
like the moon when we're hidden under the heavy blanket.
