The fireflies from my childhood,
The ones that used to amuse me,

I'm getting lost,
I've never felt so far away,
as I do today.
I've swam out too far,

I sit and watch,
Smoke jumps from their lips,
and floats,
into the air,

The city that never sleeps,
the buildings make up the teeth,
the streets are long tongues,
covered in trash,
...

We're walking
on the waves,
The world around us
seems
...

I'm burning in it's fires,
and choking in it's smoke,
hiding in it's shadows,
Forever, And I thought this was a joke..

Sometimes,
Life is good,
it's not a burden to live
