Opening Up



like a bud i try to open up
one summer's day
eager for the rays of the sun
and the coolness of the wind

but then
something goes wrong in my sepals
the twig twists itself
and the bud wilts

something goes wrong
how can i ever tell you about the reason for the wilting?
