Only You Poem by Maddy Adams

Only You

Only you know why I spent those hours in my room with the door locked.
You were there to calm me down.
You made me put down the gun.
Only you knew how I got those scars on my arm.
You forced me to stop.
You made me throw away the blade.
Only you know why I ran away.
You stopped me in your car.
You held me till I stopped crying.

If it weren't for you, I may not be here.
So I owe my life,
Only to you.
