There's a person I often see
Who's always engulfed in a deep reverie.
Whose eyes shine like the stars at night,
Whose beauty blooms in the precious moonlight.
Feeling of love arose in my heart,
And one day I revealed it all to her.
I knew not why she was deeply hurt,
And everyday she would remain sad.
Her eyes lost their shine
Her face wore a gloomy look.
And all she seemed to be was a faded rose.
I was wrong I came to know,
So I have promised myself not to reveal it anymore.
Though with time the bitter memories may be forgotten,
It will be there always, left concealed,
Only in my heart.
