Only In Movies Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Only In Movies

Yet, somehow I doubt you'd realise.
The somewhat shy guy who never saw the rest of the world in the voyage of your eyes,
How time flies picking apart favorite movie scenes and replacing them with thoughts of you. Mere fantasies of meeting you in the oddest but simplest of places.
Perhaps I'm greatful for the glimpse of hope given for the years I never thought of you.
Then again,
Sometimes I imagine that you won't recognize me for the same glimpse of pain that didn't occur in the fantasy of you.
