One Thousand Nights Poem by Ravensclaw jamie

One Thousand Nights

Rating: 4.5

One Thousand Night's
It's here in this cold, cold light
that I will forget you...
Just let it all pass away,
like one thousand nights that are gone...
One thousand night's that don't mean a thing
They only mean Everything...
One thousand night's the rain washes away &
I know this pain will remain.
How empty & alone it all feels at this moment,
it won't leave me alone...
And I pretend it doesn't mean a thing
Mystical Witch with your golden rings & she sing's
Still dying inside for you, still crying out for you...
So, it's here in this cold, cold light
that I will forget you...
Just let it pass away like
One thousand nights that don't mean a thing...
They only mean everything!
