I waited patiently
Hanging on to each text
Even if you didn't text back all the time
I still held you
Even tho you wouldn't hold me
I still felt our connection
You said wasn't there
I still broke My hearts outer molding
Only for you to Shatter it into tears
When You kissed me I felt alive again
Only for you to say its just a 'weak moment'
It tore us apart and our paths began to stray
I didn't leave you And You still walked away
I still hope patiently
There'd be that day
Where you'll walk back in my life
That you'll make all my wrongs right
That at the end of the tunnel
You turn out to be my light
Im still waiting
