One Of Those Days Poem by Lauren Pandy

One Of Those Days

Take me to the funny farm
I can't stand this place
This ain't where my heart belongs
I think I've gone crazy

Can't you hear it in my voice
Or see it in my eyes
I don't really have a choice
My insanity decides

It's been one of those days

This definitely ain't my town
And it sure ain't my home
My head's been rollin' round and round
My heart is so alone

There's little room for happiness
'Cause you've not been here for a while
I am making this your business
You're the one who makes me smile

It is one of those days

You're the reason I'm up late
Waiting for you to appear
I will eternally wait
For the day I find you near

I think I could make you happy
Only time will tell
Baby, baby why can't you see
For you my heart fell

It was one of those days

I don't think I can show this to you
I'll admit I'm kinda scared
To you I would always be true
My heart you would repair

Give me just one shot, baby please
Do it just for me
I'll admit it's kind of selfish
Why can't you just see

You really make my day
