If I had one more day
One more day before we part
I would say everything that is anything
and everything that's in my heart

I would say how much I love you
and how I'll miss you so
I would say how much I need you here
How I'll never let you go

I would say that you mean everything
That ever meant anything to me
I would say how much I'll miss
That you always had to protect me

I'm sorry that we fought
And I'm sorry I got mad
I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you
When you were fighting with dad

I'll always remember the laughs
And never forget the tears
I'll never forget how you were always there
Throughout some really tough years

I thought I had more time
Then you got that call
Now I have one more day
And I can't say anything at all
