*one Kiss

Rating: 2.8

Today I woke up and realized
It’s just going to be a bad one,
‘Cause I had too many things up in my mind
That reminded me – oh wait! my hands are covered in blood.
You don’t come back from a morning like this,
Everything is so simple, it’s one in the same, and it’s so
Like you to get caught up this
And forget that I told you I loved you, in the first place.

Today I wish I had let you know
That it’s going to be a long one,
And everybody you knew was going to spit in your face
And that I knew – oh wait! I never knew anything at all.
Nor do I ever and that’s the way it seems,
And it seems so simple, but it’s not, and I’m going to blow.
Not withstanding pressure anymore,
My walls are broken down and thin to the core, is this the way you want it?

It’s not like we truly get second chances
And the more we fight it the harder it’s going to get
Why is it so absurd to say that life’s just a joke?
And if the end is the punchline
Then the trick is to find the funniest way to die…

One night to bring it all down,
One more night to see if you really care,
One kiss to start the fire,
And one more kiss to end it all.

I like the rawness of this one. Amazing it is how one thing can end the same way it started ya know?
