*nothing More We Can Do Now (Sunrise, Sunset) Poem by Christopher's Dead

*nothing More We Can Do Now (Sunrise, Sunset)

Rating: 2.8

It goes down thick
With a hole in your chest
I got 99 problems
And 98 grand in debt
But I know that with you
I can finally see
That when you hold onto my heart
Makes it f**king hard to breathe

‘Cause you take and you take
Without ever giving back
If my lyrics are cliché
Then you’re a proverbial heart attack
Like a marble lathe and knife
You are cold to the touch
Well ya better buy a whore tonight
‘Cause I just couldn’t give a f**k

[Chorus]

Sunrise, better than a sunset
Everyone knows that heaven is worthless
If you live for the life after your life
Well it’s after your life to me

Give me one second to think
And another to doubt
All the little things you loved
That you couldn’t do without
The moment that you told yourself
This is the end
I couldn’t have agreed more
But where was the sensitivity?

[Chorus]

Know that you’re never gonna be set free
And if it’s gonna come down to you and me
Then I’ll always be lonely
But at least I’ll know that I can sleep
