One Day Out The Others Poem by Phoenix Blood

One Day Out The Others

Rating: 5.0

To start off, tell you what?
This wasn't what I thought!
It wasn't certainly going my way
This was certainly the worst day!

I went to school, woke up early at six
I was pushed over by a guy called Nicks
I entered class and everyone looked up
They looked in awe and laughed crazily. Yup!

Arrgh! I raged when got kicked out of class
Wanting to kick someone and just pass
I waited wanting to be called in again
I suddenly tripped and got an ankle sprain

I limped to the playground hoping to not fall
Wimp! Loser! I heard them call
I ignored and let myself fall on the bench
I sat, looking at the kids, my fists clench

Almost the end of the school day
But certainly not the whole day
This is one unlucky day, just one hopefully
I was extremely annoyed physically and mentally!

I staggered back home, managed to walk well
Then came the stupid puddle and I fell
My face straight onto the ground and I lay flat
I screamed in anger and did nothing but spat

I painfully lifted my poor body
Running came my brother, little Toddy
He tried to keep the laugh in but failed miserably
I don't blame him for me looking finicky

This day wasn't the best in the world
All I could think of was becoming a ball; curled
To end it off, let me tell you what?
This is certainly not what I thought!
