One day at a time
Must be how we live
Why worry, be anxious
Yourself ulcers give?

One day at a time
Not two or three
Learn to trust in God
Or in the grave you'll be.

One day at a time
Not three or four
Unless you would like
A heart attack for sure!

One day at a time
I find is enough
What with petrol costing more
And taxes getting tough.

'One day at a time'
Is what Yeshua the Christ did say
There is wisdom in His other words
'Evil enough is in one day.'
