One heart breaks as one heart mends
One friendship lasts as one slowly ends
One set of eyes cry millions of tears
One person admits all of their fears
One person is born and one person dies
One tells the truth and one whispers lies
One hand writes as another erases
One child cries because of unfamiliar faces
One persons pain becomes one too many
One has millions, though another only a penny
One lies awake in the dark of the night
One sleeps well without a fright
One, sadly will always be
The one to pass judgment on what they see
