Once Upon A Nightmare (Poem/Story) Poem by Eilena Sharpe

Once Upon A Nightmare (Poem/Story)

Once upon a nightmare
there was a girl,
the girl was alone
she was always alone
no one ever came near her

she sat with her confidence
gone and nothing left to give,
for they had put her here
even thought she was sane
they had taken her trust
and lost it for good
leaving her with nothing but
herself, the one thing she did not want

she sits there all day
staring up at the wall letting
go of her thoughts,
having your life taken away
by a little betray from the
people the took her away
they brought her here saying a gay tail
that she had lost her mind.

and now thats shes here
she knows that her fear
will never came back to her
the fear of losing the people
you love and no longer being
part of there life,
but when you are here in the place
where she sits you will see why its already
gone.

every thing thats she was and wanted to be,
was gone when she was put were she is

she never looked around for she
new there was nothing to see
thinking thats she should not be here
but not quite sure...starting to think
they were right....

as the white of the walls clouded up her mind
she was moved from the white room
to the gray padded cell....

Why things should be done to girls or women? Can not they do things for themselves and others...to be the doer of actions in one's life, is the source of confidence.
