Once Magnificent Poem by ernest hilary

Once Magnificent

Rating: 3.0

......... So it were
Rats and mice play together
The mountain open wide its arms
Providing shelter to everyone
Trees dance to muted rhythms
Of birds singing beautifully
The oceans, rivers; sweet refreshment
For all creature that go thirsty

Then suddenly;
You and I became greedy
So greedy to the eyes of the maker
Even bats are scared flying at night
Butterfly sees nectar as an irritating fluid
Red wine flowing in our streams
Joys of beaten ogene
Songs of singing birds
All are disgusting to the tree
For it is scared of being brought down
We all alike are stared

Now it is.........

Once Magnificent
