Rating: 4.7

News On TV Last Night….

a complete disaster for restaurant owners

because the government believes
there is in our country
recently too many new corona patients
delivered to hospitals

the government decides
that for bar owners may only be open until 1 a.m.,
restaurants-owners must close their restaurants for ONE month,
people are no longer allowed to eat, take out is only allowed,
just opened last 1 June and now closed again?

Well, since June 1 last
only 30 people are allowed to eat in the restaurants,
and not 200 anymore.

Just calculate, the difference of 170 visitors,
how many euros is that?

So sad to report this
because what about the restaurant-owners
throughout the Netherlands?

They can no longer keep it up, most of them go bankrupt.

Imagine, they have built up their restaurants till this high level for at least 30 years!

POET's NOTE
Each restaurant owner has got 4000,00 Euro each because they must close their restaurants from 26 March till 1 June 2020. That is very little compared with their loss

Government is worried due to increase of Corona cases. There should be restriction and people should obey all COVID guidelines. All of us need to defeat Corona. This poem is very thought provoking poem amazingly penned basing upon Tv reports. People should help government in obeying COVID norms...5 stars..

Corona is taking its toll in many unseen ways, other than the disease itself. Expressing my solidarity with you at your loss.
