On this very birth day
I came to know I am
Going nearer and nearer
Towards death.
On this very birth day
I have forgotten the past
And I remember what to do
For the sake of future.
I came to know future is
No more here at this juncture
And I have nothing to make merry
As I have a lot of works
Still to complete to save myself
From the dark side of nature.
But I have to observe my birth day
Today itself with my friends and relatives
I know though no one of them can
Accompany me on the path I have to go.
On this very birth day
I recalled how I have lost
And still I have to light the candle
And see my world dazzle.
