On The Wing You Fly Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

On The Wing You Fly

As on the wing you fly
And vast tracts of heavens
Traverse and yet
Tract after tract in that immensity
Exhausts not line or boundary through
Your flight
As on the wing you chirp
Forgetful
Of riches, power, woes
As on the wing you fly…….
Teach me little bird, teach me.
To swim in heaven's oceans
Vast listless and float
As all things celestial so-called
Float…
Reckless of this
Reckless of that
And Motion onward goes and
With it Master Time…..
