On The Inside Of Insanity Poem by Kathlyn Grace

On The Inside Of Insanity

Terror and sorrow
pain and dispare
they are what people see
when the mask isn't there

Issues with no cause
Yesterday with no tomorrow
these are the things they fear
because they know that 'normal' is out there

Loss and regret
tears and disgrace
people can tell when they lose all their covering
people can see when they know what to look for

Insanity is no disease sir
it is not a fixable cause
it is simply those special people
who see us for who we are
who see through our daily demore
who were blessed in my opinion
with a gift of sanity
against the rest of us with a terrible case of insanity

Nice way to turn it around Kathlyn! It is true that people who are labeled 'insane' are often the most insightful. Good job.
