On Fire

My soul is on fire
burning with rage
wanting to be free
but trapped in a cage
My bodies the shield
to keep my soul alive
from all the darkness
that could creep inside
I let no one in
to get close enough
to tear out my soul
because im not that tough
I let no one in
I don't want to get hurt
so stay far away
for what it is worth
