On A Windy Day Poem by Dana Lamb

On A Windy Day

My hair tousled
Breezy soft air
I inhale it deeply
It empowers me
I’m airborne
No sunshine
A semblance of transparent
Veil made of gauze
A natural curtain
Drawn over the world
Water not azure
But dark blue
Waves rocking
As if in a dance
As if they have a heart too
Wind and water
Heaven and earth
A perfect come-together
