Old Friends Poem by XxAmieLee xX

Old Friends

Rating: 5.0

Hey there, how are you?
I haven't seen you in ages,
our friendship from all those years back,
is still written in the pages.

How have you been, keeping out of trouble,
It's so good to see you again,
It's been ages, and I can't believe,
how much you changed since back then.

Why won't you talk to me,
I thought we were old friends,
is this what happens, is this what goes on,
when an old friendship comes to an end.

Amie I read this and expect it to be written by someone of mature years, not someone who hasn't yet reached twenty. Lovely structure to your poem and your disappointment is conveyed with great warmth to the reader. Sad, when friendships that meant lots seem to dissolve over time. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
