Will I, Can I
Utter or whisper
The negative thoughts
Which run through my head

Will I, Shall I
Give an utter
To the shadowed words
Which linger in the dark

Will I, Do I
Give an ear
To empty words
As they silently yell out

Will I, Must I
Hearken to those words
Overcoming the light
The light dims yet again

Will I, May I
Give meaning
To the covert words
Remaining slightly unheard

Words sounding
Light fading
Listen, Listen
Oh Will I
