Oh, Watson Poem by Annia Rosa

Oh, Watson

Darling, let's give it a kiss
Maybe that will make it cease
The curses that you hiss
The splatters on your jeans

Oh, you know I don't mean it
It was only a joke
After all, s'not the only one
I've been of mind to poke

You've done well, soldier
Set down your arms and at ease
There's fight in you yet
But this is all that you'll see

You've made it very far, indeed
And t'was only to be suspected
That the hour of deducing
Come sooner than expected

Rest your eyes, now, doctor
For this will be amended
Rest your eyes, now, doctor
For this darkness has consented

It shan't be the last
Now don't you fret
You'll write again
My dear, my friend
My confidant
It's elementary yet
