Oh, The Safety Of Mishap Events Poem by Rosetta -

Oh, The Safety Of Mishap Events

I'm finally safe from the storm, taking shelter underneath an umbrella.
I still have the fear of the wind and lightning, and maybe one day it'll take me down.
For now, however, I've managed to take shelter,
And until a day of worry or fear, I'll have managed to let it be.

I've fallen asleep listening to the words of other people's hatred.
Things like "kill yourself" or "you won't be enough" are the things that keep me up.
Because of myself, I get scared for the safety of other people around me,
When I eventually realize the danger here is me, and passing.

I shattered my hand with glass.
I pray the glass doesn't shatter other people, because my rage often deflects.
But no; for now I'm safe underneath the umbrella, away from things.
Oh, the safety of mishap events.
