Oh Spring... Poem by Richard D Remler

Oh Spring...

Rating: 5.0

**************

Winter ended yesterday.
It's Spring up on the wall.
It's been a cold, cold misery,
With snow banks ten feet tall.

The wind outside is blowing
Fierce and rattling the sky,
And the clouds above,
They grumble something foul
As they drift by.

Winter ended yesterday,
March twenty-two is gone.
But it doesn't feel too much like Spring
With Winter still turned on.

It's dropping flakes and dusting trees
With a dandruff cold and gray.
I do believe old Winter's planned
A rather lengthy stay.
