Ogbange Poem by obinna tochi

Ogbange

You are a rose among thorns.
Feed me with your love lest I die.
Like a wild deer in the desert
I am utterly dead…

Though I try not say it
As it voices in my quiet thoughts,
Your love stings me
Like a bee.

Oh! How beautiful you are?
Ah! How breath-robbing you look?
Your teeth are as white as chalk,
Perfectly matched with none missing.

Those who stand aloof
Do so not because of hate,
But due to lack of courage…
You are an enigma.
