Nwaokikeudobi Poem by obinna tochi

Nwaokikeudobi

Taking the snuff of memory,
The goddess of memory I wooed.
For ‘she' hour has come,
Nwaokikeudobi my grand forest.

Gazing at the elephant of the sky,
Peering into the moon of the day,
Searching for the sun of the nights.

Unpeople the lion,
‘Unlion' the people,
‘Uncity' the country,
‘Uncountry' the city,

Are we hoes in the hands of the creator?
Nwaokikeudobi the flutist…
Nwaokikeudobi the hunter…

For your skill is lost to legend,
To attain your level one must live -
Live the lives of two eternals.
Nwaokikeudobi my legend,
Nwaokikeudobi my all…
How can a tuber be unearthed if not by harvesting?
