Of Thirst Hunger And Sleep... Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Of Thirst Hunger And Sleep...

Thirst...

Parting between lips
drops a cup of hissing feels
sweet and kiss thirsty…

Hunger...

Perching on the mind
searches out for tasty food
down yard lust hungry…

And Sleep...

Eaten swollen breads
drunk on sweetened bottle wine
lie bodies half sleepy...
