Of Happy Days Soaked In Laughter... Poem by Slobodan Luchezarny

Of Happy Days Soaked In Laughter...

Of happy days soaked in laughter
And steamy nights remembered after
I still keep records lovely track
Just to recall those feelings back,
When being old, and grey, and thin
This way forever I’ll be in!
And childish cry, teenager’s spirit
With adolescent shy smile in it,
And youthful time, when, night or day,
You’re on the go or under way!
So, here I can say once more
From all I’ve done, from all I know:
If I could start my life again,
I’d live it pretty much the same!
Let anybody any day
Repeat these words that one can say
Who would look back at my lifespan:
He’s sort of a helluva man!
