Odogwu Bitters Poem by Michael Oluwasegun Adesiji

Odogwu Bitters

My girl is gone with the wind
But nothing about her will I miss
In her place,
I have got my loyal bottle
Of gin to grip and kiss
Should in case
The weather decides to kill

Only those who have an heart
Can find it broken.
In my case,
I find Odogwu's seal broken

In my heartlessness,
Sorrow has found my home unopen
As I jolly and gulp for pleasure
With a trade for just a token

In liquor, I have found
Just the best of a soulmate
Think a soulmate
And you would find none
As Odogwu's mate.

Before you break, get Odogwu;
The companion to Champions
