Ode to the unknown solider

Oh! Unknown solider,
The lost son of a mother,
The little boy of a father,
You'll never see your brother.

Your good old country,
That you won't see,
All these days,
In the big field of hay.

You haven't been recognized,
The telegram that had all moms terrorized,
She never received,
She has now realised,
Her son is not coming home.

Never will you suffer,
From the grieving pain of your father,
But this nobody will know, ever,
Because you are the unknown solider.

On this Earth you lived,
To the death, you lost, you died,
Rest in peace my brother,
Rest in peace, forever.

Logan, you have entered this forum with a powerful poem which is a great tribute to an unknown soldier who has sacrificed his life for the sake of his people and his country. But who will empathize with his father, his mother and his brother who have lost their world in his death. Thanks & Best Wishes.
